Sonny & Rosie | A True Saint

Sonny Lee is a saint of a human being, literally. I’m sure most of you know his story by now…his father was a New Orleans Saint and tragically died of a heart attack when Sonny was only 3. Growing up without a father is hard on anyone, and Sonny was no exception. So in 2011 he founded Son of a Saint, an amazing organization dedicated to helping the fatherless boys of New Orleans. I’ve volunteered my photo services to SOAS over the years, and I can tell you first hand how incredible it is in transforming lives. These men lead by example and are absolutely changing the lives of so many young men in New Orleans, young men that society too often disregards. What started as a handful of boys in 2011 has now grown over 500 strong.  Their positive influence will be felt for generations.
