FAQs

001. What is “full wedding” coverage?

Full wedding coverage is based on an 8-hour day, which is usually more than enough time to cover everything from the getting ready to the sparkler exit and everything in between. But like I said, we can tailor something to meet your exact needs.

002. Do you travel for weddings?

Hell yes. I’ve shot weddings in Bermuda, France, Italy, Germany, and Puerto Rico, and would happily shoot a million more. I love to travel and hardly need a wedding as an excuse. If you’ll have me, I’m there.

003. Do you shoot film?

Film is a vibe, and I enthusiastically offer it as an add on for those that want the vibes.

004. Do I need a second photographer?

This one is up to you. I always recommend it, but I am more than capable and comfortable with shooting a wedding by myself. However, depending on the size of your wedding and logistics of being in more than one place at once, sometimes it’s a necessity.

005. Do you offer engagements or bridals?

Of course, they’re a great ice breaker and a perfect way to get some pretty photos before the big day.

006. Do I have to order prints through you?

Nope! But it’s highly recommended and couldn’t be any easier. You can order a variety of prints and products directly from your online gallery. You don’t have to use my professional lab, but please do not leave your legacy to crappy drugstore prints.

*Please see below for my take on prints!

007. Can you recommend some Videographers?

Probably the #1 question I get asked. Yes, I will gladly share my favorites with you.

008. How long have you been shooting weddings?

It all started in 2011 when a friend's sister insist I shoot her wedding. While I tried my best to decline, she wouldn't let me. I was nervous and had no idea what I was doing...I had one camera and one lens. And yes, I shot in JPEG. Shout out to Brooke, I owe you! The rest, as they say, is history.

009. What are next steps?

Shoot me an email, I’d love to hear about your wedding. Once we come up with a plan I will send you a quote and contract for your review. Once signed a deposit is due and then we are good to go, your wedding is on the calendar.

Here’s the thing about prints.

These photos will outlive you. A couple of years ago I found an old shoebox of photos from my grandparent's home. I can't tell you the emotion I felt when looking through them. I was sad that I didn't know these people, my people, in their prime. These photos showed me a side of them that I never knew existed. They were young and so in love. I never met my grandfather (who I'm named after), but I felt like I knew him.

This is the power of photography. Your photos are just as meaningful to future generations, maybe even more so.  This is what we’re creating.

Print your freaking photos.

All of the photos you see above were scanned from 2x3” prints that had been sitting in a shoe box for decades. These moments will last for generations, but not on a hard drive.

You’ll have full access to my professional lab with hundreds of options for printing your heart out.
